Returning your vehicle - Fair wear and tear guide

When vehicles are to be returned at the end of their contract, the agreement states they must be in good condition, for their age and mileage. If they are not, end of contract charges can be applied.

To determine whether your vehicles are within industry guidelines a comprehensive document the 'Guide to Fair Wear and Tear' as recommended by the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (BVRLA) is available to view.

It has been produced for drivers and fleet managers to compare the condition of each vehicle against clearly defined standards of acceptability. This then allows quality repairs to any defects that would otherwise incur charges after the vehicle is returned.
