Our Community

We’re great believers in giving something back to our community and our people are always willing to get involved. That’s why we support a whole host of good causes through community education programmes, fundraising and volunteering.

Everyone at Arval can take 2 days a year to volunteer for a cause that’s close to their heart. And when it comes to fundraising, our people don’t just support charities, they choose them, organise events and personally raise the money for them. In 2018 alone, 426 of our employees gave up over 2,500 volunteering hours for a good cause, and raised over £40,000 for 41 different charities.

We also run programmes such as Arval Inspires – where our employees use their expert knowledge and skills to support and develop students from local Swindon schools to improve their business skills.

One of our big passions is Road Safety and we sponsor the Global Fleet Champions programme run by national road safety charity Brake and support educational programmes  such as Safe Drive, Stay Alive Roadshows, which teach young adults from around Wiltshire and Dorset how to stay safe behind the wheel.

We also published a free guide for people in our community that offered top tips on how to keep safe on the roads.
