About the role
This exciting role has come about through recognition that our business values the expertise that compliance brings to the table and presents an opportunity for leadership across all key responsibilities covering Regulatory Affairs, Compliance Monitoring & Oversight, Advisory and Governance & Reporting. In a nutshell, you will work across all channels of compliance.
Day to day responsibilities will see you play a key role in Arval UK’s management of regulatory and compliance risk by advising business leadership on current and emerging risks, supporting the implementation of compliance policies and processes, whilst providing assurance that compliance objectives are being met.
Pay Zone C1
To be successful in the role you will have proven experience, ideally leading, in consumer credit compliance and therefore an unrivalled knowledge of Consumer Credit Act and FCA’s CONC handbook, within either a leasing or lending business.
In addition we need someone with superb people skills who is highly capable of effortless stakeholder management and credible influencing. Your ability to move deftly up to a very senior level whilst placing technical topics in context they can relate to will be proven as will your ability to lead and deliver significant regulatory and business change. A consulting background would be extremely useful along with experience of managing a small team.
We operate in a very dynamic environment so we need someone who can flex workload and priorities at a moments’ notice and handle the inevitable ambiguity with comfort whilst always considering the customer.
