About the role

 

We are currently recruiting for a Collections Co-ordinator to join our Collections team.

 

In this role you will be expected to maintain the accounts receivable ledger and will assume sole responsibility for the timely payment of overdue invoices from our customers, following best practice procedures at all times. This will involve making inbound and outbound calls to customers.

 

You will undertake the timely referral of collection issues to first line management whilst building and developing positive relationships with all internal and external colleagues, suppliers and clients. As part of a team you will contribute to service delivery levels by providing guidance to others and informing the decision making processes wherever possible.

 

 

Who we are looking for

 

We are looking for an energetic and confident individual, previous customer service experience is essential, however, previous credit control or collections experience is not! We will teach you all you need to know.

 

You will need to possess excellent communication skills and be able to handle ever changing workloads and priorities. We are looking for someone who is comfortable taking calls from and contacting customers chasing overdue invoices. Our customers are mostly aware that we will be contacting them.

 

We will be looking for someone who enjoys working within a team environment, isn’t afraid to share their ideas and enjoys following processes. Excellent excel skills would be a cherry on top but not essential.

This is a Pay Zone A2 role with a salary up to £21,000, an annual bonus of up to £1,000.
