About the role

 

This role sits within our FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) team, within our Finance division. In basic terms, our FP&A team is tasked with empowering Arval UK by formulating the best plans, and providing insightful reporting and analysis. They do this through delivering fantastic fundamentals, and focus on five core strengths: exploiting data, keeping it simple, being nimble, business partnering and storytelling.

 

As a Finance Manager within our FP&A team, you will take ownership for a wide variety of responsibilities: leading the production and co-ordination of our budgets and quarterly forecasts; analysing and reporting on our monthend results; and leading the provision of MI and performance dashboards. 

 

Importantly, you will communicate the story behind the numbers. Additionally, you will have ownership of our financial margin (income from leasing) as well as managing key stakeholder relationships with the Group team in Paris.

 

This role is vital in leading the provision of timely and accurate information to key internal customers from across the business, enabling them to make the decisions needed to achieve our strategic objectives.

 

You will be managing a small team.

This includes a basic salary of range of £54,000 to £64,000 plus up to £8,900

Bonus and a company car or cash allowance (£6,000 per annum).

About You

 

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate experience within an FP&A role, along with a proven accurate and structured work ethic and capability. Secondly, you will need to be able to clearly articulate, with excellent communication skills to a senior level. Your ability to analyse data, crunch the numbers and then tell the story will guarantee your success.

 

The chances are you will be a qualified Accountant, although we are very happy to consider someone qualified through experience too.

 

Some line management or supervisory experience will certainly add to your application. As will experience of interacting collaboratively within a Group business.
