Internal Communications and Employee Experience Specialist (permanent)
About the role
Alright then. Grab a cup of something nice, switch off your social media feeds, don’t look at your email and just spend the next few minutes reading something that might turn out to be just what you’re looking for…
You have a rare opportunity to be a part of an award winning, all singing all dancing HR and Organisational Development team. As we have a coveted role for the right person on a permanent basis, as a crucial component of our awesome Internal Communications team.
The successful candidate will help us shape and evolve our internal communications at Arval UK. Someone who can future proof our comms strategy, embrace digital working and champion Total Experience, while demonstrating how to work creatively, proactively and independently where required.
We are super proud of our (award winning) employer brand - the Journey Maker Experience (click here to find out more!) and you will play a key role in its further development.
This ranges from producing communications and planning Employee Experience events, to embracing digital content and championing new ways of working. For this, we’re looking for a confident ‘people person’ who enjoys nothing more than empowering their colleagues and amplifying their voice, keeping them informed and energised about all things Arval. No doubt, along the way, we’ll chuck in the odd curve ball - just to keep you on your toes!
- You will work with a range of demanding stakeholders and use your extraordinary creativeness to make sure each message engages and inspires our people - always in tune and on point with our Journey Maker brand.
- You will help develop and maintain our multi-channel, reach-for-the-stars Employee Engagement plan - key to our 5 year People strategy.
- You will be on a team that is the key to everything – the finger on the pulse of what’s happening. Evolving our communication tools that keep our Journey Makers up to speed with everything from their digital skills to championing Arval’s key business priority of ‘sustainable mobility’.
£28-35,000 salary range plus superb benefits.
This role is eligible for Hybrid working (up to 2 days working from home per week)
Who we are looking for?
It doesn’t matter if you have years of experience under your belt, or just a couple – you’ll be armed with a bright and shiny creative brain that empowers you for the challenge and ensures that you click with us.
We are fast-paced, all singing all dancing wizards at what we do. The bar is set high, so to really nail it, you’ll hit the ground-running, blowing our minds at your ability and soaking up as much as you can of the wraparound support.
It’s a given that you’ll challenge and ask “surely we can improve …?”
We’re looking for someone who is a high energy and colorful individual who can build relationships with gravitas and ease. As we evolve the engagement strategy to fit the future state of our workplace, we’ll need your digital expertise as we make the most of new communication channels and digital tools …
Applicants invited to the next stage will complete an online video screen. This way, you can tell us all about yourself, before we shortlist who to select for interview. You will be able to do this on your mobile phone, tablet or laptop 24/7, giving you complete flexibility. Full instructions and a Hints & Tips video will follow.
