About the role 

In this challenging role of Solution Delivery Manager you will be responsible for the delivery and planning of change in Equus IT.  You’ll be able to lead a team and provide line management including development planning, 1 to 1s, objectives and appraisals and also ensuring delivery is within the budget / capacity allocation. You will also build and sustain a culture of continuous improvement in Equus IT.   The role is based in Swindon but your team will also be responsible for delivering support across UK, France, Italy and Spain. This role is part of OneIT working closely with Global Business Solutions, Business Transformation Services and other Equus IT and OneIT teams to ensure alignment on the priorities and challenges.

About you

We are looking for an energetic and confident individual who can think at both operational and strategic levels who also has proven experience of successfully delivering change as well as managing and leading a team. You will be able to evidence this success through objective achievement and team development.

With your confident communication and technical skills you will be known not only for your ability to quickly build business relationships but your resilience to see things through and creative problem solving. We need an agile thinker who can quickly resolve issues, recommend improvements to prevent issues from reoccurring whilst juggling an ever changing workload and ensuring the customer remains the top priority. Delivering change will be a key skill in your armoury.

Additionally, it is expected that the successful candidate will have several years’ experience in IT management roles, ITIL knowledge and project management knowledge.  Experience of working in an international environment would be the icing on the cake!  Some experience in managing relationship with offshore service providers would also be an advantage.
