About the role
In this role, you will support and continue to embed the Product Governance Framework within Arval UK, whilst supporting the Product Managers with identifying gaps or issues with our regulated consumer products and monitoring remedial actions. You will ensure our Product Managers understand the part they play with Governance, whilst being on hand to support and offer advice, so guaranteeing adherence to the relevant policies and procedures that you will own.
In addition, you will ensure our systems and controls are in place, throughout the entire product lifecycle, and meet both FCA & HMRC regulatory requirements.
Finally yet importantly, you will support good customer outcomes, fair value, market appropriate, fit for purpose products and services while championing a controls-based mind-set.

This role is comes with a basic salary up to £57,000 and being at pay zone level B2, an additional £4,600 (max) bonus + company car/ £5,500pa cash allowance.
We operate a hybrid working option, which means you can equally (50:50) split your time between our office in Swindon and home once you are fully up to speed.

About You
We are looking for someone experienced in a similar Governance role within an FCA regulated business, who understands current consumer regulation and legislation. A robust understanding of what best practice looks like, along with experience implementing and imbedding a Governance framework is highly desirable.
Credible communication skills will aid your ability to quickly build long lasting relationships; from chairing meetings to collaborating with stakeholders across the business, having finely tuned elements of tenacity and resilience will play a huge part in your success too.
Lastly, a delivery-focused mind-set combined with analytical and attention to detail capabilities, will hugely aid your success.
