About the role
In this role you will be charged with managing New Business Corporate Customers. Potential clients will be a complex mix of corporate business – with a broad range of requirements, but all with very high expectations. Your initial brief will be to establish strong credible relationships quickly, supporting the sales managers in presentations, win and manage those accounts through to on-boarding – and beyond. Every client will have has a uniqueness and complexity that will make every day different. You will need to get to grips with these in order to be able to deliver value for the future.
You will look to develop relationships and ensure they have the most suitable products and services from us and that inevitably revenue and opportunity is maximised from our perspective. You will look to satisfy immediate and ongoing needs for your customers but will also think strategically for the long-term as in essence you will be responsible for the P&L of these accounts and so use your wider vision. This opportunity is primarily a relationship management role but with very high expectations to seek out upsell opportunities.
Who we are looking for?
Ideally, you will be a leasing/fleet industry expert. Someone who understands the complexities of leasing products and services. However, we will also consider someone experienced in the automotive sector who is willing to learn.
Strong relationship management with Corporate clients plays a huge part too. We’re in it for the long game, so you will be able to build lasting relationships effortlessly – afterall, you will be the face of our Company in the first instance – and what you offer must be able to continue elsewhere in the business.
So, whether talking to external clients or internal stakeholders, your natural charm and influencing skills make you instantly likable and credible. The ability to quickly understanding customer requirements and then shape a bespoke solution will also set you apart.
Finally, we need a strategic thinker. Someone able to take a long-term view for the customer and Arval. A keen commercial eye with true financial awareness is required for success in the role. Along with the drive to provide the customer with an incredible experience.
