About the role
This role is about Leadership, Team Management and Sales. You will be responsible for a team of dedicated Sales Executives, all target focussed and driven by excelling not only in the numbers, but by giving exceptional customer service.
This team sits in our Retail Direct Sales channel, interacting directly with our retail customers. This customer base is made up of private individuals and small business. With sales driven from our various campaigns and digital platforms and enterprise partners or via warm leads from our telemarketing team
Who we are looking for?
You’ll be switched on, commercially focussed and fluent in the language of sales. Adept at coaching, an inspiring role model for how to develop and manage and fast paced commercially driven team, your people skills will be highly tuned to perfection.
You will also be highly skilled at senior stakeholder management, working transitionally across our teams with our senior sales leads. Able to dip into strategy and straight back into operational challenges, your will be happy to be fluid and agile in your thinking.
Ideally, you will have some leasing/fleet industry knowledge and experience, or at least someone who understands the complexities of leasing products and services. However, we will also consider someone experienced in the sales and team management, willing to learn fast.
Finally, we need a strategic thinker. Someone able to take a long-term view for the customer and Arval. A keen commercial eye with true financial awareness is required for success in the role. Along with the drive to provide the customer with an incredible experience.
Key Skills required:
- Experience of people management in a customer service environment
- Good commercial acumen
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Expert planning, prioritisation and organisational skills
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Positive attitude and enthusiastic
- Good understanding of Arval, its Product Portfolio and the Leasing industry in general
