MERSEY GATEWAY BRIDGE: HOW TO PAY THE TOLL
The Mersey Gateway Bridge is now open and this new six lane toll bridge over the River Mersey will help relieve the congested Silver Jubilee Bridge.
Drivers can pay for a crossing in advance or by midnight of the day after crossing to avoid a penalty charge.

You can also pay* for a journey you have already made by using the automated 24/7 payment system on 01928 878 878. You will need to give your vehicle registration details when you pay.
*Payment must be made no later than midnight on the day after your journey.
what are the charges
The cost for crossing the bridge varies for different types of vehicles and there are a number of special discount packages available to reduce the journey cost.
