Large Corporate Business Manager

UK Field Based

About the role

Due to an internal promotion, our Large Corporate Channel Lead, Mark Valderey, has a fantastic opportunity to join his very successful Large Corporate team.

As a Business Manager in our Large Corporate channel, this opportunity is primarily a relationship management role but with very high expectations to seek out upsell opportunities. You will be given a very manageable portfolio of circa 10 existing UK based corporate partners to manage. These existing partners are household names who have good established accounts with us. Your initial brief will be to establish strong credible relationships quickly, as their trusted strategic business partner, managing, developing, and supporting them in their transition towards a zero-emission future. Every partner has a uniqueness and complexity. You will need to get to grips with these to be able to deliver value for the future.

Once established, as the face of Arval, you will be highly visible to these partners so relationships and financial awareness will be key to your success. This will include interacting with many departments within Arval to secure buy-in and achievement of business and customer objectives alike.

Secondly, you will have a challenging (but achievable) new business target as we continue to help businesses review their transportation needs and offer practical solutions for their future. As you seek and identify opportunities for new business and upsell, you will work closely with our Marketing and Consultancy Teams, to coordinate opportunities for business development.

You will work alongside and be supported by our Bid and Customer Account Teams taking ownership to ensure we deliver the highest level of service quality to our customers.

What’s in it for you?

As a Business Manager, this role receives a benefits package at Pay Zone level B2

This includes a basic salary of up to £55,000 plus additional commission potential of up to £20,000, and a company car.

This is a field-based role that comes with the full home working allowance and being a nationwide role, we are open on where you live, however, in addition to client visits you will have meetings in our 3 offices (Swindon, Manchester & Solihull).

You will also enjoy the outstanding benefits including.

  • Private Healthcare (AXA PPP)
  • Life Assurance
  • Generous company pension scheme (the company will add up to 10% pm)
  • A range of personal flexible benefits
  • 25 days holiday, your birthday off plus bank holidays
  • Access to great discounts on our products and services
  • To celebrate your 1st year, you can enjoy a ½ day holiday or a £75 Love2Shop voucher
  • Paid eye tests and £50 towards your lenses
  • Volunteering days
  • Charity Fundraising
  • Access to Talent programs

Culturally, we are a friendly bunch - more human, than corporate. We expect a lot but know that works both ways so offer Journey Makers all the support they need. You will find our offices inviting, relaxed, and refreshing.
