There are countless reasons why you may require a vehicle between 1 to 28 days. To ensure none of these reasons disrupt your business, Arval's Short-Term Rental product is always on hand to plug any gaps.


Whether you have a new starter attending a training course or a vehicle off the road, we are committed to bringing you the right vehicle, at the right time, at the right price. And unlike other providers, Road Fund Licence and No Loss of Use cover is included in our tariffs – so you can always clearly see the true costs.
With our wide network of vehicles giving us to access to 250,000 vehicles,  almost all car and van categories are available with standard mileage options up to 2,800 miles per month (other monthly mileage distances available upon request).

How do I make a booking?

We have made the process of making a booking as simple and hassle free as possible. You can call or email us, or book online. Quoting your unique customer reference number will insure your policy requirements are applied to all your bookings. 

Do rates include insurance and VAT?

No. Arval rates exclude insurance, VAT, and any supplementary charges.

Do Arval charge for delivery & collection?

Yes. Arval charge £5 for delivery and collection to a business address and £8 to home address. 

Can I have a vehicle delivered 'Out of Hours'?

Yes, Arval chages a supplementary fee of £12.50 for delivery and collection.

** Out of Hours relates to deliveries outside of 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am - 12pm on Saturday **


Do Arval charge to re-fuel a return vehicle?

Yes. Arval charge the national average pump price plus 20%.

Do Arval charge an administration fee for fines?

Yes. Arval charge a £25 fee per fine.

Can I hire a vehicle directly in another country?

Yes, pricing is available on request.

Can I take my rental vehicle abroad?

Yes, Arval charge a 50% of rental surcharge to take the vehicle abroad. Drivers must also purchase a 'Take Abroad' Pack at £75.

Do Arval charge for excess mileage?

Yes, Arval charge 15p per mile on mileage exceeding 2,800 miles in a 28 day period.

Is there a charge for aborted deliveries and collections?

Yes, Arval charge a £25 fee.

Can I return my vehicle to a different location?

Yes, Arval charge a £12.50 fee for 'One Way' hires.
