Leasing a Volkswagen

Founded in 1937 to make the car that would become known as the Beetle, Volkswagen has gone on to be one of the most successful and well-known car manufacturers in the world. The German Volkswagen Group owns a number of other motoring brands including Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Porsche, SEAT and Škoda. The VW range starts with the up!, a fun city car designed for use around town, while the Polo is a supermini that’s a strong contender for best-in-class in the small car category. Moving up the range, the ever popular Golf hatchback is available with either three or five doors and also comes as a practical estate, while the Golf SV is a compact multi-purpose vehicle (MPV).
The Passat is Volkswagen's large family car and is available in four-door saloon and five-door estate models. There’s a choice of MPVs, kicking off with the Touran, a compact but spacious MPV with plenty of versatility. The new Sharan is a large people-carrier and, with room for up to seven adults, it’s a great choice if you need to transport big groups of people.
In the increasingly popular small crossover category, there are two models to choose from – the T-Cross which is effectively a Polo with an SUV facelift and the T-Roc which is based on the Golf but has its own distinct crossover styling. Volkswagen makes two sports utility vehicles (SUVs) - the compact Tiguan offers stylish looks combined with dynamic performance, while the Tiguan Allspace’s longer wheelbase means it has room for seven seats. The distinctive Touareg is a large SUV that boasts a quality interior and impressive off-road skills.
The Arteon is VW’s premium offering – marketed as a fastback saloon, it features cutting-edge design and a high-spec as standard, making it a great alternative to a more traditional executive saloon. A number of models across the VW range are available with hybrid engines – branded as GTE, they include the Golf, Passat and Passat estate. And if zero driving emissions sounds appealing, Volkswagen have two fully electric vehicles on offer – the e-up! and the e-Golf.
NEED A COMMERCIAL VAN?
Volkswagen also makes a range of light commercial vehicles (LCV), so whatever you need from a van, there’s bound to be a VW to suit your business needs. The Caddy light van is the smallest, going up in size to the Transporter medium van and Crafter heavy van. There’s even a pickup in the form of the Amarok. The whole Volkswagen commercial vehicle range is very adaptable, with most models available in a number of different sizes and configurations including crew vans, minibuses and even camper vans. We appreciate that making a decision on your next van isn’t easy. We’ve got a lot of experience in leasing vans so can offer honest advice to all our customers.
