The Virtual Home Check

You might be asked to do a quick video call with British Gas so they can check a few things with your electrics. Please clear any obstacles or trip hazards from the area around your fuse box so you can do this safely.

Application for permission

Before installing your new home charge point, British Gas will apply to the DNO (Distribution Network Operators) for permission.

Installation day

Your British Gas engineer will install your charge point and answer any questions you might have.

Drive your new EV!

You’re ready to go – and if you need help with anything after your installation, the British Gas team will be there to help.
