Personal leasing
How leasing works
Personal Contract Hire explained
What is Personal Contract Hire?
Personal Contract Hire (PCH) is a type of long-term car rental. You get to drive a brand-new vehicle in exchange for a fixed monthly payment.
Simply choose a contract length, mileage allowance and vehicle to meet your needs.
Key benefits
Brand-new cars
Choose from a wide range of the latest models, featuring state-of-the-art safety features and tech.
No benefit-in-kind liability
Unlike driving a company car there are no extra tax implications because this agreement is a personal contract.
You're in control
Choose a contract length, initial payment and mileage to suit your needs. You can even include optional extras like an insured leased vehicle, vehicle maintenance and breakdown cover.
Low risk
You're protected from the unpredictable used-vehicle market – simply return the car to us at the end of the lease.

Frequently asked questions
You are responsible for making monthly lease payments from the point the car is delivered until it is returned.
If the final payment invoice has been issued, the car can be collected and this will be treated as a normal termination. No rentals will be credited.
If the car is returned after the Personal Leasing agreement end date, we will revert to billing in arrears (at the end of the Personal Leasing agreement) and continue until the car is collected by our authorised supplier. Pro-rata billing will apply for the final month.
We will organise for the collection of the car 5 working days (Monday to Friday) after you tell us you no longer need it. We don't automatically collect the car on the last day of its Personal Leasing agreement, so it is really important that you contact us promptly to arrange this.
The car will be collected free of charge from an agreed mainland GB address (England, Scotland, Wales and Isle of Wight). For any other GB locations, a collection fee will be charged. Contact us to find out more.
When you return your car, you will be charged at 1 pence per mile for any miles exceeding the agreed total. Charges will be billed within 7 days from the date of your car collection.
If the car is returned before the Personal Leasing agreement Term, we may also charge for excess mileage. This will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, by looking at the daily mileage allowance and multiplying this by the total number of days the car has been in service with us.
The charge is treated as compensation because we do not undertake the repair and therefore the charges are exempt from VAT. This charge is to compensate us for the damage caused to our vehicle and the impact of this on its value. This is standard industry practice. To avoid these costs at the end of the lease, you can have the damage repaired before the vehicle is returned to us.
