anti bribery and corruption statement

Arval UK operates a policy of zero tolerance of bribery and corruption in all its forms. This means that it does not tolerate any bribery whatsoever, whether it consists of the payment or the receipt of a bribe, whether it occurs inside or outside the UK and whether it takes place in the private or public sector of any country.

Arval UK does not tolerate any other form of corrupt practice and will decline to enter into any business relationship if it considers that to do so might expose it to any activity which might be corrupt, fraudulent or otherwise illegal.

Arval UK has in place rigorous procedures and robust systems and controls designed to detect and prevent financial crime, including bribery and corruption. Its staff are trained to identify and evaluate financial crime risks and such risks are routinely considered in deciding whether to enter into business relationships. Particular care is taken when dealing with (a) foreign public officials, (b) intermediaries such as introducers, distributors and brokers and (c) suppliers. In such cases, Arval UK may require anti-bribery and corruption clauses in relevant contracts and may, in addition, wish to investigate the adequacy of the anti-bribery procedures and controls of its counterparties.

Arval UK operates to the highest standards of honesty and integrity and expects its business partners to observe the same standards in all business dealings with Arval UK.
