Remove a Private Plate request form

To process your private plate retention request, we will need an £80 payment from you to cover the DVLA charge for removing the plate. There is no Arval admin fee to remove a Private Plate.

Once both the form and the payment are received we will process your application to remove your Private Plate.

I understand that I will need to pay £80 to cover the DVLA charge to retain the plate. My retention application will not start until I have made this payment. We will share payment details with you once we have reviewed your application.
I understand that my application can take up to 5 working days to complete
I understand that ownership of my plate will temporarily transfer to Arval but Arval have no interest in owning the plate and will provide the documentation I need to put my plate on my next vehicle or sell it.
