Important information

Before you book your collection, there are some important things to note:

  • Arval does not automatically collect the vehicle on the last day of the contract - you need to arrange collection using this form.
  • Once you notify us that the car is available, and that you no longer need it, we will organise collection (hopefully within 5 working days if it’s a mainland UK address).
  • Vehicles can be collected at any time between 8am and 6pm on the collection date, so you’ll need to be available throughout the day.
  • If you’re not available when the collection agent arrives, you’ll be charged an aborted collection fee. The fee varies depending on the costs involved, but will typically be between £120-£200. So if you need to reschedule the collection appointment, please let us know as soon as possible but no later than 3pm on the day before the booking - by calling 0345 266 5287.

Insurance: The vehicle must be fully insured until physical collection has taken place and the keys have been handed over to the collection agent. Insurance liability then transfers to the collection agent (this excludes failed inspections and collections where the vehicle is not deemed roadworthy).

Billing: Your monthly rental payments are due from the point the vehicle is delivered until it is returned.

  • If your final monthly invoice has been issued, vehicle collection can be arranged and your final payment should be paid.
  • If the vehicle is returned after the contract end date, you will need to pay for any additional days. You will be billed in arrears for the number of days between contract end date and vehicle collection.

We need a minimum of 5 working days’ notice to collect your vehicle. Collections take place from Monday to Friday, between 8am and 6pm. If we can’t accommodate your requested date, we’ll be in touch.

We are experiencing an extremely high volume of requests right now. When providing us with your preferred collection date please give us a minimum of 5 working days’ notice, but please note we are unable to collect at the weekend. If we can’t book the date you’ve requested we will be in touch.

Sorry, we can't guarantee that we will be able to get you a vehicle this quickly - ideally, we need five days (excl. weekends) to get your vehicle ready. If it's urgent please call us on 0345 266 5287.

Please note that collection times are between 8am and 6pm. For collections outside of the GB mainland (Isle of Man, Shetland isles, Jersey or Northern Ireland) please be aware that we may need to contact you to discuss your collection needs.
If adding more than one address please separate them by a comma
If your vehicle is returned prior to the MOT expiry date you do not need to renew or complete a new MOT

Please note we cannot collect vehicles if there are any warning lights on. If your vehicle has a warning light you will need to arrange servicing or repairs before returning the vehicle. Please cann us on 0345 266 5287 if you need more information.

One last thing to remember, your vehicle must be insured until the physical inspection has taken place. The insurance liability will transfer to the collection agent if they cannot facilitate the collection on the same day as the inspection, as long as the vehicle is secured and has not been moved from the original inspection location.
